নির্যাতন করে স্বীকারোক্তি নিয়ে রাবির ঘটনায় জামায়াতকে জড়ানোর চেষ্টা হচ্ছে: মুজাহিদ

 ঢাকা, ০৯ মার্চ (আরটিএনএন ডটনেট)-- রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ঘটনা সরকারের সাজানো নাটক বলে দাবি করেছেন জামায়াতে ইসলামীর সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল আলী আহসান মোহাম্মদ মুজাহিদ। বলেছেন, নির্যাতনের মাধ্যমে শিবির কর্মীদের কাছ থেকে স্বীকারোক্তি আদায় করে ওই ঘটনায় জামায়াতকে জড়ানোর চেষ্টা করছে সরকার।
মঙ্গলবার বিকালে রাজধানীর ইঞ্জিনিয়ার্স ইনস্টিটিউট মিলনায়তনে মহানগর জামায়াত আয়োজিত আলোচনা সভায় তিনি এসব কথা বলেন।
রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্রলীগকর্মী ফারুক হত্যার সঙ্গে জড়িত অভিযোগে র্যাবের হাতে আটক ছাত্রশিবিরের কর্মী ইকরাম হোসাইন গতকাল সাংবাদিকদের সামনে যে বক্তব্য দিয়েছেন তার প্রতি ইঙ্গিত করে মুজাহিদ এসব কথা বলেন।
মুজাহিদ বলেন, ‘রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের এক গ্রুপের শিক্ষকরা যখন বললেন, পুলিশ কমিশনারের বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা এ ঘটনার জন্য দায়ী। আর পুলিশ কমিশনার যখন পাল্টা বলে দিলেন, যত আকাম-কুকাম (রাবি) ভিসি করেছে। তখন জাতির সামনে পরিস্কার হয়ে গেছে কারা রাজশাহীর ঘটনা ঘটিয়েছে এবং কারা এটাকে রাজনৈতিকভাবে ব্যবহার করার জন্য ষড়যন্ত্র করছে।’
মুজাহিদ আইন-শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী বাহিনীর উদ্দেশে বলেন, ‘পুলিশ ও র্যাবের কর্মকর্তাদের কাছে আমাদের আবেদন, আপনারা নিরপেক্ষভাবে কাজ করুন। একজনকে ধরে এনে নির্যাতন করে তাকে দিয়ে সাংবাদিকদের সামনে কথা বলানো আইন-শৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীর কাজ নয়।’
মহানগর জামায়াতের আমীর রফিকুল ইসলাম খানের সভাপতিত্বে আলোচনা সভায় জামায়াতের সহকারি সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল মুহাম্মদ কামারুজ্জামান, আবদুল কাদের মোল্লা, এটিএম আজহারুল ইসলাম, সংসদ সদস্য হামিদুর রহমান আজাদ, কেন্দ্রীয় কর্ম পরিষদ সদস্য আবদুল হালিম প্রমুখ বক্তব্য দেন।
